Reports and Financials

ASMP is registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit tax-exempt organization in the USA as Hope and Health International, dba Alaska Sudan Medical Project.

As a small, grass-roots organization mostly run by volunteers, ASMP is able to keep its overhead and administrative costs low, ensuring that a maximum amount of funds go directly to programs in South Sudan. ASMP relies on the generous contributions of individual donors, who account for the vast majority of our donations. This work would not be possible without donors like you.

ASMP closely manages its funds by a dedicated team of Board members who comprise the Finance Committee. Above all, we want to be good stewards of the funds that our donors contribute.

In South Sudan, the ASMP is registered as the “Alaska Sudan Health Initiative” (ASHI). ASHI is a registered NGO with the South Sudan Ministry of Legal Affairs, the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, and the United Nation’s Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. We have been blessed to have the support of the South Sudanese Government in our efforts.
